Veteran Minneapolis garage-pop rockers The Silverteens released their self-titled vinyl LP in November 2023. The record is available in Twin Cities independent record stores and on the Silverteens Bandcamp page. 

Long known for their eclectic mix of cover songs — ranging from obscure ’60s garage rock to late ’70s punk and power pop — The Silverteens over the summer of 2023 recorded 10 original songs that mirror those genres. They added one cover, “Frantic Romantic,” by The Scientists, a pop/punk band from Australia.

The LP was recorded, engineered, and mixed by Run Westy Run’s Paul McFarland at Mere Kat Manor in Minneapolis.
